This tool counts cash quickly and accurately. Enter how many of each note and coin you have and it adds up the total value and the number of pieces live as you type. It is built for cashing up a till, balancing a drawer, or counting savings.
How it works
Each denomination has a fixed value. The total is the sum of each denomination’s value multiplied by how many you have:
total = Σ (denomination value × count)
The piece count is simply the sum of all the counts. Every row shows its own subtotal so you can double-check as you go. The denominations run from 100 down to 0.01 and are currency-neutral, so the tool works for any decimal currency.
Example
You count 3 × 20, 4 × 5, and 6 × 0.50:
3×20 + 4×5 + 6×0.50 = 60 + 20 + 3 = 83.00, across 13 pieces.
| Denomination | Count | Subtotal |
|---|---|---|
| 20 | 3 | 60.00 |
| 5 | 4 | 20.00 |
| 0.50 | 6 | 3.00 |
| Total | 13 | 83.00 |
