Nonprofit teams are perpetually short on time and write a constant stream of grants, appeals, thank-yous, and reports. This pack gives you tested prompt templates for that workload — grant narratives, donor communications, impact reports, and volunteer coordination — each with fill-in-the-blank variables so you start from structure instead of a blank page.
How it works
Each prompt names the document, your cause and context, and the audience — a funder, a
major donor, the public, or your board. The bracketed variables — [cause area], [grant body],
[amount] — supply the specifics that make the writing credible. Filter by category or search,
replace the brackets, copy, and paste into your AI tool.
Tips for better output
- Match the funder’s language. For grant prompts, paste the funder’s stated priorities and ask the model to mirror them — alignment wins grants more than eloquence.
- Lead with one real person. Appeals and reports land hardest when they open with a single beneficiary story rather than aggregate statistics.
- Quantify impact honestly. “£25 provides a week of meals for one family” beats “your gift makes a difference” — but only use numbers you can actually defend.
- Protect people and data. Get consent for stories, centre beneficiary dignity, and never paste donor or beneficiary personal data into a public AI tool.
