What is the standard Kill Team point limit?

Most current Kill Team formats build rosters to a 100-point cap, from which you select your operatives for a given mission. This tool defaults to 100 but lets you change the limit for narrative, escalation, or house-rule formats.

Does this include faction-specific rules?

No. The calculator is faction-agnostic: you enter the point cost of each operative and any equipment yourself, from your team's datacards. It tallies whatever you add, so it works for every faction without needing a built-in database.

How do I know if my list is legal?

The tool flags when your total exceeds the point limit by highlighting the remaining-points figure in red and showing a negative remainder. Legality also depends on operative selection rules in your rulebook, which you should check separately.

Can I remove an entry I added by mistake?

Yes. Each line in the roster has a remove button, so you can delete a single operative or piece of equipment and the total recalculates immediately without clearing the rest of your list.

Does my list persist if I reload?

The roster lives in the page while you work and is not sent anywhere — everything runs locally in your browser. Reloading the page starts a fresh list, so finalise or note down your build before closing the tab.

A legal Kill Team roster has to fit inside its point budget, and it is easy to lose track of the running total while juggling operatives and their wargear. This calculator lets you add each item with its point cost, keeps a live total against your limit, and warns you the moment the list goes over.

How it works

The tool keeps a list of entries, each with a name and a point cost, and sums them:

total      = sum of every entry's points
remaining  = point_limit − total
over budget when remaining < 0

There is no hidden faction data — you supply each cost from your datacards, which keeps the tool accurate across every army and every rules update. The remaining figure turns red when you exceed the limit so an illegal list is obvious at a glance.

Example and tips

Adding three operatives at 17, 20, and 13 points plus a 5-point piece of equipment gives a total of 55, leaving 100 − 55 = 45 points against the standard limit. Build out your full strategic roster first, then prune to the mission selection. Because everything is local and resets on reload, jot down or screenshot your finished list before you close the tab.
