Texture and pattern prompt builder
Textures have different rules from scenes: you usually want flat, even lighting, a top-down or straight-on view, and — critically — seamless, tileable edges so the result repeats cleanly. This builder bakes those requirements in so your material, color and scale choices come out as a production-ready texture prompt.
How it works
You select the material, a dominant color and a feature scale, then decide whether the texture must tile seamlessly. The tool assembles these with the right technical keywords — flat lighting, top-down framing and, when requested, seamless or tileable — so the model produces a clean surface rather than a lit, perspective scene.
Tips for usable textures
- Always flatten the light. Even, diffuse, top-down lighting keeps the texture neutral so you can re-light it in your engine or editor.
- Turn on seamless for anything that repeats — game terrain, fabric, wallpaper, web backgrounds. Without it you get visible seams.
- Match the scale to the use. Fine grain reads well up close; large bold features suit feature walls and hero backgrounds.
- Generate the albedo here first, then derive normal and roughness maps in a dedicated material tool for a full PBR set.
