Icon and illustration prompt builder
The hard part of an icon set isn’t any single icon — it’s making all of them look like a family. That consistency comes from reusing the same style, color palette and size while only the subject changes. This builder separates those: it generates a per-icon prompt and a reusable style-token string you can paste onto every subject in the set.
How it works
You name the subject and lock the style, palette and size. The tool builds a full prompt for the current icon and also surfaces the style-token portion on its own. To build a set, keep the tokens fixed and swap only the subject for each new icon — so a cart, a rocket and a gear all share one cohesive look.
Tips for cohesive icon sets
- Decide the style once. Flat, outline, isometric or 3D — mixing them breaks the family resemblance instantly.
- Constrain the palette. Two or three colors used consistently does more for cohesion than any other single choice.
- Keep subjects simple. Icons read at small sizes, so one clear object per icon beats a busy composition.
- Reuse the style tokens verbatim for every icon, and use the same seed in your generator for the tightest consistency.
