Need realistic-looking random paragraphs for a mockup, a writing prompt, or a quick test? This generator assembles plausible English sentences and paragraphs from a common word bank — a friendlier alternative to Lorem Ipsum when you want filler that still reads like real language.
How it works
The tool draws words at random from a built-in bank of common English words. To build a sentence it picks a random number of words, joins them with spaces, capitalises the first letter, sprinkles a comma roughly in the middle of longer sentences, and ends with a full stop. A paragraph is several such sentences joined together; paragraphs are separated by blank lines.
You control the output with two settings: the unit (paragraphs or standalone sentences), the count (1 to 100), and, for paragraphs, the sentences per paragraph (1 to 20). Every click of Regenerate redraws the words, giving a fresh variation each time.
Example
Unit paragraphs, count 1, sentences-per-paragraph 3 might produce:
Mountain quiet river follows, gentle morning over the valley. Window opens toward distant light and steady. Garden remembers summer voices, soft and certain near the path.
| Setting | Range |
