This tool spells any whole number into Turkish words. Turkish counting is pleasantly regular, and the converter handles its one small quirk for you. It runs entirely in your browser.
How it works
Turkish number words are simply space-separated with no agreement or concatenation. The one rule to know: the leading bir (one) is dropped before yüz (hundred) and bin (thousand), so 100 is yüz and 1000 is bin — but it is kept for the larger units, so one million is bir milyon.
Example
| Number | Turkish |
|---|---|
| 100 | yüz |
| 345 | üç yüz kırk beş |
| 1,000 | bin |
| 2,000 | iki bin |
| 1,000,000 | bir milyon |
So 1234 spells out as bin iki yüz otuz dört.
