What is a letterhead and why do I need one?

Can I use the PNG header in Microsoft Word or Google Docs?

Will my design be saved if I close the tab?

Yes. Your latest letterhead design, including text, colours, layout and the uploaded logo, is stored in your browser local storage and reloaded automatically next time you open the tool. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

What image formats and sizes work best for the logo?

PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result, but JPG and SVG also work. A square or wide logo around 300 to 600 pixels on its longest side looks crisp in both the PNG and PDF exports. Very tall logos are scaled down to fit the header height automatically.

Can I make a letterhead for A4 and US Letter?

Yes. Switch the paper setting between A4 and US Letter before exporting the PDF. The header layout adapts to the page width, and the exported PDF uses the correct page dimensions for printing in your region.
