The ID & Membership Card Maker designs a complete, two-sided identity card right in your browser — front and back, with a photo, your organisation’s branding, and any custom fields you need. It is built for clubs, gyms, small businesses, schools, co-working spaces, volunteer groups and event organisers who need professional-looking member or staff cards without paying for design software or a card-printing service.
Cards are drawn at the true CR80 standard size (85.6 × 54 mm — the same as a bank card or driving licence) and rendered at roughly 300 DPI, so what you export is genuinely print-ready, not a low-resolution screenshot. You can export each side on its own as a high-resolution PNG for digital wallets or screens, or generate a PDF print sheet that arranges front-and-back pairs on an A4 page with crop marks, ready to print, cut and laminate.
Everything is 100% client-side. The photo you upload is read locally and painted straight onto a canvas — it never leaves your device — and your card details are stored only in this browser so you can return and tweak them later. There are no accounts, no watermarks, and no upload limits.
How it works
You start by choosing one of four layouts — Classic (a coloured header band), Side band (a vertical colour panel for corporate ID), Minimal (a clean white card with a thin accent rule), or Event badge (a bold full-colour card with a large centred photo and name). Pick an accent colour and a background; the tool automatically chooses a readable text colour so light or dark backgrounds both stay legible.
Next you fill in the organisation name, an optional tagline or department, a title badge (such as MEMBER or STAFF), the cardholder’s name and an ID number. Upload a photo and it is cropped to fit the card’s photo box — circular on the event badge, rounded elsewhere. The front fields and back fields are fully editable label-and-value rows, so you can add a membership tier, expiry date, blood type, access level, or anything else. The back also carries a magnetic-stripe style strip, a signature line and an editable terms note.
The live preview redraws on every change. When you are happy, export — and because the rendering is deterministic, the exported PNG and PDF look exactly like the preview.
Example
A climbing club needs annual member cards. They choose the Classic template, set the accent to
their brand blue, and enter the club name with a “Members’ Association” tagline. They type the
member’s name and a number like NCC-2026-0481, upload a headshot, and add three front fields:
Membership: Full / Annual, Valid until: 31 Dec 2026, Tier: Gold.
On the back they add an emergency contact and an issue date, then a short terms note. They click Print sheet (PDF), which produces an A4 page with several front-and-back pairs at exact card size and crop marks. Printed at 100% on card stock and laminated, each cut card is a finished CR80 membership card — produced in minutes, at no cost, with nothing uploaded.
