A cursive text generator that turns plain typing into elegant Unicode script and cursive styles you can copy and paste anywhere. It is built for social bios, captions, usernames, headings and anywhere a normal keyboard cannot reach a handwritten, flowing look. Type on the left and the styled versions appear instantly on the right, each with its own copy button so you can grab exactly the variant you want.

How it works

Most keyboards only produce the basic Latin letters A to Z. Unicode, however, defines thousands of extra letter shapes, including a full set of script (cursive), bold script, fraktur and bold fraktur alphabets inside the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols range. This tool keeps a mapping table for each style that pairs every plain letter with its styled counterpart. When you type, it walks through your text one character at a time and swaps each A to Z letter for the matching cursive glyph, leaving spaces, numbers, punctuation and emoji untouched.

Because the result is made of genuine Unicode characters rather than an image or an installed font, the styled text survives copy and paste. You can drop it straight into an Instagram bio, a TikTok caption, a Discord nickname, an X post or a chat message and it keeps its appearance on the other person’s device, with no download required.

A few cursive letters, such as the script capital B, E, F, H, I, L, M and R, are stored in a different part of Unicode because they were standardised earlier as letterlike symbols. The generator fills those gaps with the correct standard characters so each alphabet is complete and every glyph stays unique. That uniqueness is what makes the Cursive to text mode possible: each styled character maps back to exactly one plain letter, so decoding is lossless. Everything runs locally in your browser, so nothing you type ever leaves your device.

Example

Typing Hello World produces, among others:

  • Script: a flowing cursive Hello World
  • Bold script: the same words with heavier, rounder strokes
  • Fraktur: a sharper, gothic blackletter Hello World

Switch to the Cursive to text tab, choose the matching source style and paste a cursive string back in to recover the original Hello World. Use Copy all variants to copy every style at once, labelled, so you can compare them side by side before choosing one for your profile or post.

Every character is generated in your browser. No numbers, names or text are uploaded or stored at any point.
