What does full mode add?

Full mode wraps the handle in a plausible real name, producing results such as Maya "Voltage" Cruz. This suits characters whose given identity still matters to the story.

Can I use these names in my game or novel?

Yes. Invented handles and randomly combined common names are not protectable, so they are safe for RPGs, novels, and games. Sanity-check against any famous existing alias.

Why do handles use words like neon and chrome?

Those words evoke the neon-soaked, cybernetic aesthetic central to the genre. The tool deliberately leans on that vocabulary so handles feel authentically cyberpunk.

Does the tool store anything?

No. All word lists are bundled with the page and the generator runs in your browser. Nothing you generate is uploaded or saved on a server.

How it works

The tool keeps a pool of edgy prefixes (attitude, tech, and colour words) and a pool of sharp dystopian nouns, then joins one of each to form a handle such as Neon Wraith or Chrome Saint. In full mode it also pulls a gender-mixed given name and a hard-edged surname, embedding the handle in quotes between them to produce Maya "Voltage" Cruz. Each pool is shuffled with an unbiased Fisher-Yates pass per batch.
