What is a standard Age of Sigmar game size?

Standard matched play is 2000 points. Smaller games are often played at 1000 points and larger ones at 2500, which are the three options in the tool.

How does reinforcing a unit affect points?

A reinforced unit has double the models and costs double its base points. Ticking the reinforced box multiplies that unit's points by two in the total, exactly as the matched-play rules require.

Do enhancements cost points in AoS?

In current Age of Sigmar, artefacts, spells, and other enhancements generally cost no points but are limited in number. The tool totals unit points, so add any pack-specific point costs only if your rules pack assigns them.

How it works

Every AoS warscroll has a points value. Your army total is the sum of those values across your roster. The one twist is reinforcing: a reinforced unit fields double the models and costs double its base points. The tool handles this by multiplying any unit you tick as reinforced by two before summing.

The matched-play game sizes are fixed budgets:

Small     1000 pts
Standard  2000 pts
Large     2500 pts

Choose one and the calculator subtracts your running total from it to show points remaining, flagging the list in red if it goes over.

Tips and notes

Enhancements such as artefacts of power, spell lores, and command traits usually cost no points in current AoS but are capped in number, so the tool focuses on unit points where the arithmetic matters. Unit costs shift with each battlescroll and General’s Handbook, so copy values from your faction’s latest points list. A clean 2000-point list typically uses every point or leaves only a small remainder unspent.
