A subscription cost tracker that turns a messy pile of recurring charges into one clear number. Streaming, software, music, cloud storage, news, gaming and gym memberships all bill on different cycles — weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly — which makes it almost impossible to know what you actually spend. This tool logs each one, normalises every billing cycle into a single true cost, breaks your spending down by category, warns you about upcoming renewals, and lets you export the lot to CSV. It is built for anyone doing a subscription audit, trimming a budget, or trying to stop paying for things they forgot they signed up for.

How it works

You add each subscription with its name, amount, billing cycle, category and next renewal date. The tracker converts every entry to an annual cost first — a weekly charge is multiplied by 52, monthly by 12, quarterly by 4, and a yearly charge stays as-is. From that annual total it derives your spend per day, per week, per month and per year, so a plan billed once a year and a plan billed every month sit side by side on equal terms.

Active subscriptions feed a category doughnut chart so you can instantly see whether streaming, software or storage is quietly eating your budget. A separate panel lists every renewal due in the next 30 days, sorted soonest-first and flagged in red when a charge is within three days — your cue to cancel before the card is hit. You can pause a subscription to keep it on record while excluding it from the totals, or delete it once cancelled. Everything is saved automatically in your browser, and a one-click CSV export gives you a portable spreadsheet of the whole list. Nothing ever leaves your device.

Example

Suppose you track four services: a streaming plan at 10.99/month, a music plan at 9.99/month, a cloud backup at 79/year, and a quarterly news subscription at 30/quarter. The tracker annualises them — 131.88 plus 119.88 plus 79 plus 120 — for a yearly total of 450.76, which is about 37.56 per month or 1.23 per day. The category chart shows streaming and music dominating, and the renewals panel reminds you the cloud backup is due before you would otherwise have noticed.

ServiceBilledAmountAnnual cost
Streamingmonthly10.99131.88
Musicmonthly9.99119.88
Cloud backupyearly79.0079.00
Newsquarterly30.00120.00

Pausing the news subscription instantly drops the yearly total to 330.76 — exactly the kind of “do I really use this?” decision the tracker is designed to make obvious. Every figure is calculated in your browser and never uploaded.
