Seattle Parking Cost Estimator

Estimate daily, monthly, and annual parking costs across Seattle neighborhoods.

Parking is one of Seattle’s quietest big expenses — a downtown monthly space can run around $225–$400, and hourly rates in the densest neighborhoods add up fast. This free estimator gives representative rates for major Seattle districts and projects your real monthly and annual parking spend, including an event-day surcharge near venues.

How it works

You pick a neighborhood, which loads representative hourly, daily, and monthly rates. The estimator then computes monthly cost based on how you park:

hourly:  monthly = hours/month * hourlyRate
daily:   monthly = days/month  * dailyRate
monthly: monthly = monthlyRate (flat)

If you enable the event multiplier, a share of your parking days are charged at the higher event rate:

eventExtra = eventDays * dailyRate * (multiplier - 1)

Annual cost is simply the monthly figure times twelve.

Notes and example

Parking daily in Downtown at a $32 daily rate, 20 days a month, comes to $640/month — about $7,680 a year, and that is before event surcharges. A monthly pass at $300 would save roughly $340 a month. The rates here are planning medians, not a live quote; confirm with your specific garage. Everything runs locally; nothing is uploaded.
