Russia applies a 13% flat personal income tax (NDFL) on resident employment income up to 5 million RUB a year as of 2025. Unlike progressive systems with many brackets, the standard rate is a single flat percentage. Enter your gross salary, monthly or annual, to see your income tax and take-home pay instantly.

How it works

The calculation is a single flat percentage:

  • Income tax = gross income × 13% (rate adjustable)
  • Net (income-tax only) = gross income − income tax

The monthly/annual toggle simply multiplies or divides by 12. The calculator shows income tax only. Two real-world notes: income above 5 million RUB a year is taxed at 15% on the excess, and non-residents pay 30% — adjust the rate field to model either. Employer social contributions are separate and do not reduce your stated salary the way income tax does.

Example

A gross monthly salary of 100,000 ₽:

  • Income tax = 100,000 × 0.13 = 13,000 ₽
  • Net (income-tax only) = 100,000 − 13,000 = 87,000 ₽
  • Annual income tax = 13,000 × 12 = 156,000 ₽
