How does sentiment affect the star rating?

Positive reviews get 4 to 5 stars, neutral reviews get 3, and negative reviews get 1 to 2. The body text is drawn from a phrase pool matching that sentiment so ratings and wording stay consistent.

Can I export structured data?

Yes. The JSON copy button gives you an array of objects with rating, author, date, title, and body fields, ready to paste into seed scripts or fixtures.

Does it send anything to a server?

No. Generation is entirely client-side from built-in lists. Nothing is transmitted or stored anywhere.

Are the reviewer names real people?

How it works

You pick a sentiment and the generator selects a star rating from the matching band: positive maps to 4 to 5 stars, neutral to 3 stars, and negative to 1 to 2 stars. The title and body are then drawn from phrase pools dedicated to that sentiment, so wording never contradicts the score. Reviewer names combine random first and last names, and the date is a random day within the past year. The mixed mode randomises sentiment per review to produce a realistic spread.
