Crypto and DeFi projects follow surprisingly consistent naming patterns, from tech-flavoured prefixes to playful meme blends. This tool assembles token names from those patterns and derives a plausible ticker symbol for each, so you can populate a blockchain demo, a game economy, or a story in seconds.
How it works
The generator offers three styles. Prefix names join a technology or finance prefix like Hyper or Quantum with a finance word such as Swap, Vault, or Yield. Portmanteau names blend a prefix and a finance word with a one-character overlap to produce a smoother invented word. Meme names combine a community theme word with a finance suffix. For every name the tool derives a ticker by collecting the capital letters at camel-case boundaries, or falling back to leading consonants, and trimming to three to five uppercase characters.
Tips and notes
- A short, pronounceable name with a clean ticker tends to read as more credible — regenerate until the symbol looks like one you would see on an exchange.
- Meme-style names suit community tokens, while prefix and portmanteau styles fit infrastructure and DeFi protocols.
- None of the output is checked against live tokens or trademarks; verify originality before using a name anywhere real.
