The PDF Page Extractor pulls a chosen set of pages out of a larger PDF and saves them as a clean new document — without uploading anything. It is built for the everyday job of sending someone just the pages they need: the signature page of a contract, three pages of a long bank statement, a single chapter of a manual, or the figures from a report. Drop a file in, pick your pages, and download a fresh PDF in seconds. Because every step happens inside your browser, the original file never leaves your device, which matters when the document is a payslip, a tenancy agreement, an invoice or anything else you would not want sitting on a stranger’s server.
How it works
When you load a PDF, the tool renders each page to a small thumbnail so you can see exactly
what you are picking — no guessing from page numbers alone. You select pages two ways:
click the thumbnails in the order you want them, or type a range such as 2-4, 9 and press
Apply. Ranges accept commas, spaces, open-ended forms like 5- (to the end) and even
reversed forms like 9-7 if you want pages in descending order. Crucially, the selection
order becomes the output order, so the extractor doubles as a quick reorder tool: bring a
page to the front, drop one out of the middle, or interleave pages from different parts of
the document.
When you export, the underlying page objects are copied directly into a new PDF, so text stays selectable and image quality is untouched. You can produce a single combined PDF, a ZIP containing one single-page PDF per selected page, or a ZIP split into fixed-size groups (handy for breaking a 200-page scan into tidy 10-page batches). All of this is done with a local PDF engine — there is no server round-trip, no account, and no watermark.
Example
Say you have a 40-page lease and your letting agent only needs the deposit clause on page
12 and the two signature pages 39 and 40. Type 12, 39-40 into the box, press Apply,
and the extractor selects those three pages in that order. Choose One PDF with all
selected pages, hit download, and you get a 3-page lease-pages-3.pdf ready to email — the
other 37 confidential pages never appear.
| You want | Type this | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Pages 1 to 3 | 1-3 | A 3-page PDF |
| Page 5 plus pages 8 to 10 | 5, 8-10 | A 4-page PDF in that order |
| Everything from page 7 on | 7- | Page 7 to the last page |
| Pages 9 down to 7 | 9-7 | Pages 9, 8, 7 (reversed) |
Every figure and every page is processed on your own device — nothing is uploaded or stored.
