Kazakhstan Flat Income Tax Calculator 2025
Kazakhstan applies a 10% flat personal income tax rate on employment income as of 2025. Unlike progressive systems with multiple brackets, a flat rate means the same percentage applies to all taxable income regardless of amount. This calculator estimates the income-tax portion of your pay so you can see your take-home figure quickly.
How it works
The calculator multiplies your gross salary by the flat rate to find the tax, then subtracts it for net pay:
- Tax = gross × 10%
- Net = gross − tax
You can edit the rate field if needed, and the monthly/annual toggle scales the result by 12 when you view a monthly salary. The figure covers individual income tax only — social and pension contributions are separate.
Example
For a gross monthly salary of ₸ 500,000:
- Tax = 500,000 × 0.10 = ₸ 50,000.00
- Net take-home = 500,000 − 50,000 = ₸ 450,000.00
Over a year that is ₸ 6,000,000 gross, ₸ 600,000 tax and ₸ 5,400,000 net — before pension and OSMS deductions.
| Gross (monthly) | Income tax (10%) | Net take-home |
|---|---|---|
| ₸ 200,000 | ₸ 20,000 | ₸ 180,000 |
| ₸ 500,000 | ₸ 50,000 | ₸ 450,000 |
| ₸ 1,000,000 | ₸ 100,000 | ₸ 900,000 |
