Kazakhstan Flat Income Tax Calculator 2025

Kazakhstan applies a 10% flat personal income tax rate on employment income as of 2025. Unlike progressive systems with multiple brackets, a flat rate means the same percentage applies to all taxable income regardless of amount. This calculator estimates the income-tax portion of your pay so you can see your take-home figure quickly.

How it works

The calculator multiplies your gross salary by the flat rate to find the tax, then subtracts it for net pay:

  • Tax = gross × 10%
  • Net = gross − tax

You can edit the rate field if needed, and the monthly/annual toggle scales the result by 12 when you view a monthly salary. The figure covers individual income tax only — social and pension contributions are separate.

Example

For a gross monthly salary of ₸ 500,000:

  • Tax = 500,000 × 0.10 = ₸ 50,000.00
  • Net take-home = 500,000 − 50,000 = ₸ 450,000.00

Over a year that is ₸ 6,000,000 gross, ₸ 600,000 tax and ₸ 5,400,000 net — before pension and OSMS deductions.

Disclaimer (2025): This is a flat-rate income tax calculator only. Kazakhstan levies a 10% flat individual income tax (IIT) on employment and business income. Social contributions (pension, OSMS, social insurance) are paid separately. This tool is for informational purposes and is not tax or financial advice.
