This reference lets you look up the international calling code (also called the country dialling code) for any country. These E.164 prefixes are what you dial before a national phone number to route a call across borders. Search by country name, two-letter ISO code, or the dial code itself, and the matching row appears instantly.
How it works
Every country is assigned a dialling code under the ITU’s E.164 standard. To place an international call you dial three parts in order: your country’s exit code, the destination country’s calling code, then the national number (usually without its leading 0). On a mobile, the leading plus sign replaces the exit code, so you can store and dial numbers in full international form anywhere in the world. This page ships the entire list with it, so searching never contacts a server.
Example
To call a London office number 020 7946 0000 from abroad:
| Step | What you dial |
|---|---|
| Exit code | + (mobile) or 00 / 011 (landline) |
| UK calling code | 44 |
| National number, leading 0 dropped | 20 7946 0000 |
The full international number is +44 20 7946 0000. Search “United Kingdom”, “GB” or “44” above to confirm the +44 prefix. All lookups run in your browser.
